Dak Prescott and his fiancée Sarah Jane Ramos have reportedly called off their wedding just a month before their planned destination ceremony in Italy. The breakup followed months of tension in the relationship that ultimately erupted during their joint bachelor and bachelorette parties on a yacht in the Bahamas.

According to reports, a major disagreement over a prenuptial agreement may have been at the center of the conflict. Prescott was allegedly pushing for a prenup in the months leading up to the wedding, while Ramos reportedly refused to sign one. The dispute reportedly escalated during the Bahamas trip, leading to a heated argument that ended the engagement.

Neither the Dallas Cowboys quarterback nor Ramos has publicly confirmed the prenup issue, but sources say the disagreement played a major role in the relationship reaching its breaking point.

Dak Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos have officially notified guests that their wedding is cancelled, sending an email to the roughly 250 people who were expected to attend the ceremony in Lake Como, Italy on April 10.

In the message, the couple wrote: “It is with heavy hearts that we privately inform our attendees that we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our wedding. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and we welcome your prayers.” The email was signed by both Prescott and Ramos.

Sources say the relationship had been strained for months before a major argument during their joint bachelor and bachelorette parties in the Bahamas led Ramos to end the engagement. Despite speculation online, reports indicate the breakup was not related to a prenuptial agreement, and the former couple is now focused on co-parenting their two young daughters.

Just days before her split with Dak Prescott, Sarah Jane Ramos appeared to be involved in subtle social media back-and-forth with Prescott’s ex-girlfriend Natalie Buffett.

According to online discussions, fans noticed the two seemingly responding to each other through TikTok reposts. “Every time Natalie reposts something slightly shady… Sarah reposts something responding to it being even worse and more mean,” one Reddit user wrote while tracking the activity.

Some of Buffett’s reposts included captions like, “Thank God it didn’t work out, I would’ve hated it,” and “Too many people are checking in on their single girlfriends. Check on girlfriends in single marriages.” Meanwhile, Ramos has since made her TikTok account private as speculation around the posts continues to grow.

Emmanuel Acho weighed in on the reported prenuptial disagreement between Dak Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos during an episode of Speak, making it clear he doesn’t support prenups.

“I’m anti-prenup,” Acho said, arguing that if someone feels the need to protect themselves from their future spouse, the marriage probably shouldn’t happen. “If you need a contingency plan for marriage, you shouldn’t be married… If you need to protect yourself from your future partner… you shouldn’t be marrying them.”

His take sparked pushback from co-host LeSean McCoy, who compared prenups to car insurance, something people hope they never need but keep for protection anyway. The debate comes as reports suggest a prenup dispute may have contributed to Prescott and Ramos calling off their wedding.

I love these girls so much.” The post featured pictures with friends, including partners of Dallas Cowboys players, but noticeably did not mention Prescott.
