“She was due February 22nd, and Blakely was born on March 5th,” Steelers star TJ Watt said. Feeling anxious if they had missed the natural window the couple tried several remedies for Dani to go into labor.
Later they endured every parent’s worst nightmare during labor — a plummeting heart rate and an emergency C-section. Dani bravely went through surgery, and thankfully both mom and baby Blakely are healthy.
The couple admits the ordeal was “hell and back,” but it brought them closer than ever. TJ may be a generational talent, but this offseason he’s been perfecting his diaper-changing form instead of his pass rush. Sometimes the greatest victory is at home.
