Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s engagement is already pop culture’s Super Bowl — and now New Zealand is shooting its shot to host the nuptials.

From glowworm caves to vineyard “invisible strings,” even the Prime Minister is campaigning for pop’s next royal wedding. Air New Zealand chimed in with aisle jokes, while fans side-eyed the over-the-top invite.

Turns out Matthew and Kelly weren’t always the picture-perfect quarterback–cheerleader love story. On the Sunday Sports Club podcast [1:44], Kelly admitted that when Matthew got drafted No. 1 overall, she didn’t think they’d last.

Long distance (Michigan➡Georgia), a disapproving dad, and even an earlier fling with the backup QB tested their bond. But love — and a Michigan nursing program — pulled her north.

“We did long distance and then kind of got tired of that and he said, "Do you want to move up here?" which was a big move. There was no ring involved. I was 19. I was young. I had not finished school. So I was raised in a southern home and my dad was like, "Absolutely not," and I kind of just went against what he said and moved,” she said. 

“One of the things that pulled me to is Georgia didn't have a nursing school. I wanted to be a nurse. There was a school in Michigan, Oakland University, that had a great nursing program.”

Four daughters and a Super Bowl later, Kelly’s glad she bet on Stafford. Moral of the story? Sometimes the QB’s biggest clutch play happens off the field.

Travis Kelce’s ex, Kayla Nicole, isn’t staying silent as Swiftie nation lights up her mentions post-engagement news.

On her Pre-Game podcast [35:42], the journalist admitted she’s “triggered” by the backlash but refuses to fear cancellation: “I’m just a human who wants to talk about my life.”

Kayla even called Travis moving on with Taylor a compliment — “If you’re gonna lose, lose to the best team.”
